Tigullio Camping & Resort in Sestri Levante is your ideal starting point for exploring an area rich in history and nature. The main attractions of the area are close at hand, whether you prefer to travel by train (the station is just a few minutes' walk away!), by bus (the stop is right in front of the campsite) or by boat from the picturesque port of Sestri.
If you are passionate about outdoor activities, the surroundings of Tigullio Camping & Resort offer opportunities for climbing, trekking, hiking and mountain biking. Furthermore, take advantage of the organized boat trips to admire the seabed in the company of biologists and experts, thus completing a unique experience in the splendid Cinque Terre!

The jewels of Liguria
Portovenere:
Porto Venere, jewel of Liguria, offers places of interest such as the imposing Church of San Pietro, built on a rock overlooking the sea, the Doria Castle, with a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Poets, and the characteristic colorful houses along the marina. Don't miss Byron's Caves, famous for having inspired the English poet, and Palmaria Island, a paradise for nature lovers!
Portofino:
If you are a fan of chic and exclusive places, you cannot miss a visit to Portofino, accessible both by train and by boat. This renowned tourist location is a meeting point for VIPs and famous people. You will be enchanted by the pastel-coloured houses, the luxury boutiques and the restaurants serving fish specialities, all overlooking the picturesque cobbled square on the port, where imposing megayachts often moor. From there, a path will lead you to Castle Brown, an impressive 16th-century fortress with an on-site museum and regular art exhibitions.
Camogli e San Fruttuoso:
If you are on the Golfo Paradiso and are looking for a romantic experience, Camogli is the seaside village for you. Famous for its picturesque marina and tall colorful buildings, it will enchant you with its charm. From Camogli, you can reach the bay of San Fruttuoso, either on foot, via a path, or by boat. Here, you can visit the imposing abbey of San Fruttuoso di Capodimonte and discover the famous Christ of the Abyss, an ideal destination for freediving enthusiasts.
Genova:
During your stay at Tigullio Camping & Resort don't miss Genoa! Immerse yourself in the medieval atmosphere of the historic centre, the largest in Europe, and admire the splendid Cathedral of San Lorenzo. Visit the famous Aquarium, one of the largest in Europe, located in the Old Port. Visit the Palazzo Ducale, explore the Palazzi dei Rolli, a UNESCO heritage site, and stroll along Via Garibaldi to get your fill of Renaissance art and architecture. Finally, visit the birthplace of Christopher Columbus, the city's iconic explorer.

Rocche di Sant’Anna – Valle Fico dei Ponti
Starting from the westernmost area of the city, you will come across a path that will guide you towards the Rocche di Sant'Anna and the ancient Roman bridges. It is a route that is not too long, but rather intense, which will give you unique views. Once you reach the remains of the Church of Sant'Anna, on a hill that rises directly over the sea, you will find a bench. From there, you will be able to enjoy an exceptional view of the Gulf of Tigullio, the hills of Genoa, the Ligurian and Maritime Alps, and, on clearer days, even some islands of the Tuscan archipelago and Corsica. Around you, the typical scents of Mediterranean vegetation, such as prickly pears, myrtle, holm oaks and tree heather.
Punta Baffe
Starting near the Riva Trigoso cemetery, in Via Valle Lago, a short distance from the campsite, you will begin your itinerary on a dirt road and then continue on a more welcoming path, which runs alongside the enclosures with grazing animals. Soon your eyes will meet the splendid panorama of the Riva Trigoso Bay.
The route gets steeper here, then levels out as you approach the Punta Baffe watchtower. At this point you can choose to explore other paths or return to the beginning to relax on Renà beach, with a view of the imposing Asseu Rock and its cross.

Anello di Punta Manara
Start from the center of Sestri Levante and then follow the path towards Punta Manara. The route begins with a staircase between walls, villas and vegetable gardens, and then turns into a dirt path. As you approach Punta Manara, the slope reduces and the route winds through some olive groves, up to a panoramic point at the Mandrelli farmhouses. The path then becomes more difficult, climbing up the side of Monte Castello through rocky steps, and becomes gentler among maritime pines and shrubs. Eventually, you will arrive at the Punta Manara bivouac and its viewpoint, where you can admire the ruins of a watchtower. At 139 meters above sea level, you will have the option of continuing towards Monte Castello or descending towards Riva Trigoso.
Walk along the cycle/pedestrian path Levanto – Bonassola – Framura:
This route winds along the old railway line, and offers spectacular views overlooking the sea. It is an ideal route to do on foot or by bicycle. Bicycles can be rented both in Levanto and Framura. During the journey, approximately 4.5 km long, you will come across numerous free beaches, perfect for a bit of relaxation. At the end of your excursion in Levanto, near the parking lot of the former train station, you will find a large shaded playground and a swimming pool, located in the former casino building.
